Day 1: Meet and greet
Upon arrival at the airport, Our Driver / Guide will pick you and check you in your prefered hotel in Entebbe for an overnight. After a short transfer to the Hotel, you will be briefed about your safari depending on the time of arrival. You are therefore advised to have money changed this day. Day 2: Transfer From Entebbe to Jinja, do rafting
After breakfast, you will drive to Jinja, Check into your hotel and proceed for the half day adventure rafting at the River Nile. You’ll be provided with the required equipments plus training necessary for the thrilling activity. Expect the strong and gentle rapids that will give you fun and excitement throuhout the rafting adventure. Dinner and overnight at Source of the Nile Hotel (Full Board)
Day 3: Quad biking and boat cruise at the source of the Nile
After your early morning Breakfast, you will Head out for another Guided quad-bike adventourous activity beside the River Nile. You will be provided with the neccesarry equipments and briefing for the adventrue. Imediately after, you will have Lunch at the source of the River and then do a boat cruise on the Source of the Nile which was discovered by the legend John Hanning Speak. The Nile is Africa’s Longest River, and it flows northwards of the continent through Egypt and pours into the large Mediterranean Sea. Dinner and overnight at Source of the Nile Hotel (Full Board)
Day 4: Drive to queen Elizabeth National park.
After breakfast, drive from Jinja to Queen Elizabeth NP. The park boosts the highest biodiversity rating of any game park in the world with its dense swamps, incredible crater lakes, open savannah and rainforests. On your way you will enjoy great scenery of hills, forests and Tea plantations. Have a stopover at the equator for lunch and photos relax at the hotel. Dinner and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge / Bush lodge/ Simba safari lodge (Full Board).
Day 5: Game Drive and Launch cruise
An early cup of coffee to warm up the body for the morning game drive, we shall observe a number of early risers like leopards, hyenas, lions, the Uganda kobs, antelopes, Waterbucks, Warthogs, African giant elephants, herds of Buffaloes and many more will be seen plus birds like; Wood billed, Red collared, Green crombs, Yellow billed, Grey treated starting, purple indigo, Lender bill quelas, masked weaver, Grosbeak weaver, Copper sunbird among others. After the game drive, go back to the lodge for breakfast and rest along the pool as lunch comes.
After lunch go for a stress free Launch cruise, so interesting on the Kazinga channel, buffalos, hippos, crocodiles will be seen around the edge of the channel as they cool off and birds like, the water bucks, noisy hornbills, the two species of pitas, African grey parrots, rare shoebill, Egyptian geese, yellow billed stork, white pelicans and many others. Dinner and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge / Bush lodge/ Simba safari lodge (Full Board).
Day 6: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest park
Very early in the morning after breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park via Isasha Sector with a possibility of see tree climbing lions. On your way you will enjoy scenery views of different mountains and beautiful plantations. Arrive at Buhoma in Bwindi. Check in at the hotel and relax preparing for your gorilla trek the following day. Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs / Sliver back Safari Lodge / Buhoma community rest camp (Full Board)
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking.
Early morning after breakfast, you will go for gorilla tracking but before tracking, you will be briefed by the Ranger at 7:30 am and at 8:30am with packed lunch, you will start the trek to hunt for the Gorillas. You will be able to track the Mubare, Habinyanja, Rushegura, Bitukura or Nshongi Gorilla different family groups. And when you find, you shall spend almost an hour enjoying them and observing the kind of life they live, this will be a great achievement since these great giants are unpredictable. This walk will take around 4 - 6 hours depending on which group you are tracking and where you will meet the gorillas. After tracking return to the hotel and relax, Dinner and overnight at Mahogany Springs / Sliver back Safari Lodge / Buhoma community rest camp (Full Board)
Day 8: Batwa cultural Trail
Wake up to a leisurely breakfast and prepare for yet another adventure around the park as you visit these indigenous natives the Batwa. The Batwa are Uganda’s marginalized people and are viewed with derision by most of the Ugandan Nationals. The Batwa have lived their lives to current generations by hunting and gathering in the forest. The visit to the Batwa invariably involves songs and a dance demonstration, and once the music begins you can’t help but notice that they project a genuine pride in themselves. You shall then return to the lodge for lunch and also relax. Enjoy your evening at leisure as you prepare yourselves for the next day’s journey. Day 9: Transfer to kibale National park.
Breakfast in the morning and our driver/ guide will you pick up from your place of rest and proceed to the exciting Kibale Forest National Park for chimp tracking with a stopover for lunch. We get to the park in the evening. check-in and relax. Dinner and over night at Primate Lodge/ Kibale Forest camp / Chimp nest (Full Board).
Day 10: Chimp trekking
Wake up for breakfast and set off for chimp tracking in the jungle rainforest. Sit quietly and listen to the great chimps cracking and the soft sweet sounds of the birds being heard in the air, this will take about 2-5hours. Besides the chimps, other primates like; Grey Vervet monkeys, Red tailed monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkey, Blue monkeys, Red colobus monkeys, Black and white monkeys, Mangabay monkeys, Olive baboons, Potto and many others may be seen with no other charges yet so enjoyable.Lunch at the lodge and after lunch, a visit at Bigodi wetlands sanctuary for a nature walk, birding and wildlife both mammals and birds in the setting. It will require good walking shoes since part of the walk will be muddy and some degree of fitness is also needed. Hopefully, you may be able to see the exclusive Sitatunga Antelopes and Shoebill stork. Dinner and over night at Primate Lodge/ Kibale Forest camp / Chimp nest (Full Board).
Day 11: Transfer to Fort Portal
A morning call for breakfast, check out of the Hotel and have a safe drive to Fortportal. On your way expect to see a lot of scenic view covered with plantantions. Reach Fortportal, checkin, have lunch and relax at the hotel. Dinner and over night at Mountains on the Moon Hotel / Fort Motel / Dutchess Hotel and Restaurant.
Day 12 - Day 15: Mountain Rwenzori Hiking
DAY 12: Arrive at Nyakalengija RMS office by 9:00am receive orientation,enter the park through thickets hearing sounds of the wild,crossing rivers kyoho and mahoma,ascending along the panga ridge for an overnight at Nyabitaba camp.
DAY 13: After break fast, slope to the confluence of mubuku and bujuku rivers,ascent from the forest zone through the bamboo zone,have lunch at nyamuleju old camp for an overnight at John maate camp in the heather zone.
DAY 14: In the morning and when the weather is clear you can view margherita peak here,cross bujuku river,lower bigo bog on walk boards to the upper bigo bog, along bujuku lake and an overnight at bujuku camp.
DAY 15: In the morning cross bujuku bog to the ladders and a top akendege.continue hiking for an overnight at Elena hut or cross the boulders for an overnight at kitandara camp.
Day 16 - Day 19 Descend to either Kiharo Camp 3,460 metres or Samalira Camp 3,170 metre
DAY 16: Wake up at 4:00am cross stanley platue and a top margherita summit,slope back have lunch at ELena,slope further for an over night at kitandara. Those to weissman,start in the morning from kitandara camp a top the peak(4547m asl) and come back for an overnight at kitandara camp again.
DAY 17: Hike to fresh field pass,aslope through kabamba caves ,crossing mubuku river for an overnight at Guy yeoman camp.
DAY 18: Move through bogs sloping kitsutsu rock,crossing kitsutsu severally and an overnight at Nyabitaba camp.
DAY 19: After break fast,slope along the ridge,in the forest of the wild and out of the park by 11:am to the hotel of your desire.
